Aura Air is a simulated airline. How it works

Last updated 30 September 2026

Aura Air collects as little as it can to issue a simulated booking, and nothing it does not use. This policy says exactly what, and why.

What we collect

  • Booking details — the contact email you give, an optional mobile number, each guest's title, name and nationality, and your seat, fare and extras choices. Used to issue and show your booking and boarding passes.
  • Payment records — payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep Stripe's checkout reference, the amount, the currency and the time of payment.
  • Account details — if you create an account, your email address and a securely hashed password (handled by our authentication provider), so your trips appear in one place.
  • Usage analytics — anonymous, aggregated page views and booking-funnel events via Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies. Record locators and names are stripped from page addresses before anything is sent.

We never ask for passport numbers, dates of birth or identity documents. Please don't enter them anywhere on the site.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell or rent your data, or share it for advertising.
  • We don't send marketing email unless you have separately opted in.
  • We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Sharing your boarding pass

Each booking has a private share link. If you choose to share it, the page shows only the lead guest's first name and last initial, the route, date, flight, seat and cabin — never the record locator, surname, email or phone number.

Who processes data for us

  • Vercel — hosting and cookieless analytics.
  • Supabase — database and account authentication.
  • Stripe — payment processing, under Stripe's own privacy policy.

These providers may store data outside your country, including in the United States.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept while the site operates so your booking and boarding passes keep working, unless you ask us to delete them. Payment records may be kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing hello@auraair.example with your record locator. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to your local privacy regulator — in Australia, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
